Plus, by slowing the breakdown of carbs in the digestive tract and improving insulin sensitivity, cinnamon helps to lower blood sugar levels. Studies have shown that cinnamon can lower fasting blood sugars in diabetic patients by 10-29%.
Reduce IBS Pain with Peppermint
Many studies have shown that by relaxing the smooth muscles in the colon, peppermint oil can improve pain management in irritable bowel syndrome, or IBS. Plus, peppermint helps to reduce abdominal bloating.
Treat Nausea and Anti-Inflammatory Conditions with Ginger
