Men’s Health Week is June 11-17. The goal of this week is to increase awareness of male health issues and to encourage institutions to develop health policies and services that meet the specific needs of men, boys and their families.
During Men’s Health Week, incorporate these healthy habits into your lifestyle:
Schedule a Yearly Checkup
Seeing your doctor at least once a year will help you identify any health issues early and give you the best advice for managing any existing health conditions.
Commit to a Regular Fitness Routine
Control your weight, reduce your risk for certain diseases and conditions, improve your mood and your mental health with regular exercise. We have group exercises classes, personal training options and a variety of activities available to make exercise fun.
Eat Healthy Foods Every Day
Get your daily dose of vitamins and minerals by eating a variety of fruits and vegetables every day. Limit foods that are high in sugar, salt and fat.
Use these tips to start your journey to a healthy lifestyle and learn more about programs we have to support you at the Member Services desk.
