Ken W. joined the Orland Park Health & Fitness Center in January of 2016 to help build strength in his knee after a total knee replacement. Ken was also looking to create healthy habits and get himself on track for a healthier lifestyle. Before becoming a member, Ken was struggling to lose weight and build his strength.
At first, he was intimidated by all of our Center’s offerings but quickly become comfortable with the help of our degreed and certified Fitness Team. Ken was able to learn our Center’s layout and how to use the machines.
“I’m 66 years old and working with the staff is keeping me in shape and coming back,” stated Ken.
Ken now trains with one of our Fitness Specialists, Mike Kane, weekly to keep himself on track. Ken has been able to increase his strength and improve his conditioning.
When asked how has accomplishing those goals changed your life? Ken stated, “I just feel a whole lot better!”
We are so happy to have Ken as a member and look forward to helping him achieve any fitness goal he has.
